Yes, it's Brian Wilson(there he is smiling at you, to your left), yes, it's the Beach Boys, but, it is much more than
that. It's Jan and Dean, The Surfaris, the King of Surf Guitar, Dick Dale. These days we keep hearing the term 'garage bands',
it's not a new phenomen by any means, it's our personal belief that the first group of garage bands were the bands that came
out of the era illustrated on this website, indeed there are several demo records recorded by Jan and Dean that were actually
recorded in a garage, so there you have it; the true beginning, perhaps?
